At long last, I no longer have to tend to potty emergencies or naps. While your post yesterday was greatly amusing, I also know how taxing it is to be needed. Right now. All the time. It's nurturing on demand.

Sage and I played hookie yesterday and made a spontaneous trip into the rain forest for a hike. Yep, that's me nurturing my soul and infusing my son with passion for where we live. The thing I love about motherhood and my 2012 word, nurture, is that they're investments with huge returns.
