Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and nothing says love like roses. I got it in my head that I was gonna get really deep and symbolic today. I was blown away by all the beautiful quotes I found on-line about roses...and the symbolism of their colors. But, oddly enough, it's the refrain of this old Poison song that I keep hearing: Every rose has its thorn / Just like every night has its dawn / Just like every cowboy sing his sad, sad song / Every rose has its thorn. I do love the fact that every night ends and spent roses bloom again.
